Haliburton County in Ontario, has something for everyone and for every season! It is known as an arts community and as such has a variety of functions that appeal to people who enjoy the arts but, it is also full of natural wonders and events that are one of a kind. It truly is, as the county slogan states, A Natural Work of Art! Check out the details below.

Winter Activities
- Cross country ski trails - take a lesson or just go skiing yourself! - 100 km of trails in Haliburton County, some accessed directly from your cottage Haliburton Nordic Trails Association
- Snow mobile trails - 700 km accessed as they pass by our front door.Haliburton County Snowmobile Association
- Ice skating - lit at night
- Dog-sledding - spend an hour or a day with a professional sled team.Winterdance Dogsled Tours
- Sleigh rides - available with minimum of 5 people
- Downhill skiing/snowboarding at Sir Sam's
- Snow Shoe rentals are available onsite with one snow shoe trail just down the road, or you can try out the lake when its safe! Also have a list of all snow shoe trails in county available upon request.
- Red River Luge is now available for those fun loving individuals who like a thrill .. check it out at goluge


Summer Activities
- From fishing to hiking to sight seeing or just swimming out to the swim platform there is lots to do in Haliburton during the summer. But we don't really have to tell you about all the great things to do in cottage country during an Ontario summer, do we?



Spring - Summer - Fall Activities
- Silent Craft (canoes, kayaks, paddle boat, row boat) Free all the time.
- Sandy Beach - gentle slope into the water, complete with swim raft
- Beach Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Horseshoes.
- Playground
- Boat rentals available at Bryson's Marina nearby. Keep your boat at our docks.
- 5 lake chain with great fishing
- Wakeboarding or water-skiing with Ski-Mazing Watersports School
- Minden White Water Preserve - watch others shoot the rapids in a kayak, try it yourself (if you have the training) or take a course and learn how!
- Golf ( 6 courses )
- Tennis
- Visit the Astronomy Centre at the Haliburton Forest
- Take a Walk In The Clouds at the Haliburton Forest
- take a course at the Haliburton School of the Arts
- Use the extensive network of ATV trails Haliburton ATV Association
- Cycling the backroads and trails of Haliburton County



Year-round Activities
