Opening Reception Saturday April 7 at 1pm working in the highly specialized field of glaze oil painting, Bailey has taken her inspiration from the Minden Gull River and captured it in a stunning series of work. This exhibition brings the river to life with spectacular colour, light and dark with a blending of transparency and translucency; giving a rich melody. Bailey has also created poetry to reflect her visual work, which can be heard while viewing this exhibition. Educated at Guelph and Toronto Universities for art, as well as Sheridan College, Bailey has considered herself an artist for as long as she can remember.
