The Haliburton Sculpture Forest in the Haliburton Highlands of Ontario, Canada, is unique amongst sculpture gardens and sculpture parks in Canada and the world. The Haliburton Sculpture Forest is a year round facility. It is visited by walkers and bike riders from spring to late fall and, in the winter, by skiers. The forest is dominated by deciduous trees allowing for ease of viewing throughout the year. The sculptures, by design, reflect the environment in which they reside and the materials used to create them are in harmony with their surroundings. The site is preserved as a natural setting. The entire Sculpture Forest experience, which is unstructured and unscripted, encourages contemplation. Those who enjoy outdoor trails, a quiet environment and an artistic experience will thoroughly enjoy the Haliburton Sculpture Forest. Free guided tours offered every Tues. 10am in July and Aug.
