The Willow Tree and the Tornado

Shortly after the tornado of August 2nd, 2006 we noticed a hairline fracture along one of the main trunks of the Willow Tree that has the rope swing attached. We trimmed the tree to lighten the load and attempt to save this branch but, unfortunately the winter took its toll and we had to take the branch off. Fortunately, we were able to save the branch that has the swing on it and enough of the lower branch that the kids will still be able to walk out on it to use the rope swing. It looks a little different at the beach but, not as different as I expected. www.willowbeach.com Marie Gage
