Geocaching: A GPS Treasure Hunt August 8th, 2007 Time: 9:30am - 12:30pm

Wilberforce Community Center “Geocaching” is an outdoor treasure hunt and is becoming popular around the world. Learn the basics of GPS (Global Positioning System) beginning with map and compass foundations. Every participant will have a GPS unit in their hand and will learn the basics of saving and retreiving way point as well as other GPS functions. The culminating experience will be participating in a fun GPS treasure hunt. This program is for anyone who wants to have a modern day adventure while exploring their natural world. GPS units will be provided and no experience is necessary. Space is Limited. Pre-Registration is Required. COST: Adult $15.00 Children $8.00 Family (2A 2C) $30.00
