Easter getaway in Haliburton Highlands

Easter is just around the corner and we still have space … why don’t you plan a special family getaway this weekend and come to Haliburton for a much needed weekend of rest and relaxation. Wintergreen Pancake House will be open on the weekend and its always a treat to have homemade maple syrups on their specialty pancakes or french toast….all served with homemade sausage. If you’re lucky Tom will give you a taste tour of all the many sauces they manufacture for every occasion and every taste.

 With Easter being so early we still have lots of snow … so there should be some good spring cross country skiing still available for the Easter weekend. Nothing better than skiing through our heavily wooded trails in shirt sleeves on a balmy spring day.

For the downhill enthusiasts Sir Sam’s Ski Area will be open for some great spring downhill skiing. The weather forecast looks like it should be just right for a last taste of winter in the Highlands.
