Moose sighting

In the 12 years we have been here we have never seen a moose in the neighbourhood. However, the other morning when I was walking up the driveway I noticed tracks in the gravel driveway that looked like deer but, seemed to be much too large. My suspicion that moose had frequented the property was confirmed by the couple who are staying in Hill House for a couple of months. They had been fishing near dusk and when walking back up to the house they stopped in their tracks when they say a moose walking ahead of them up the laneway. We have been watching closely but, have not had further sightings. Too bad we didn’t get a picture.
