September 21 & 22 the British Empire Motorcycle Club presents the 55th Annual Corduroy Enduro part of the Canadian Enduro Championship Series. The Corduroy Enduro is an off-road motorcycle event featuring over 100 competitors from Ontario, Quebec and the US. This is a two day event where competitors travel approximately 150km each day through challenging, rugged terrain with “special test” sections. This is Haliburton County’s longest running motorcycle event dating back to 1953, and is guaranteed to be fun for the whole family to attend. FREE ADMISSION!! Racing takes place Saturday and Sunday with a spectator bus available to take you to some of the best viewing spots. The bus leaves from the Gooderham Community Centre at 9am each day. Spectators are also welcome to drive themselves to viewing areas, locations can be found by visiting www.corduroyenduro.ca On Saturday night competitors and spectators gather in Gooderham for evening festivities including a beer tent and tire changing contest where competitors change a rear tire in less than 3 minutes!
