Back in the snow!

After 48 hours of rain we’re back to snow!! While the rain did melt a lot of snow we still have lots and reports from people cross country skiing today are that the conditions are excellent. There are still some trees down on trails and the work crews are working hard to get them cleaned up but, the skiing is reportedly still great. I guess we need the odd meltdown in the winter to keep the snow banks at a reasonable size but, why did it have to happen during the height of the Christmas break? We are expecting 5cm of new snow overnight. Tanya at Winterdance dogsledding reports that their excursions will be back up and running tomorrow. Come on up and enjoy the winter …. www.willowbeach.com
