June 27th to 29th will consist of 2 days of music combined with 2 days of whitewater fun at the Minden Wildwater Preserve. Saturday kicks off with a slolam race followed by Boatercross Downriver Race. Sunday will provide opportunity for would be paddlers to try out the sport. All the while 11 different musical acts will be taking the stage in the park. There will be a songwriter’s workshop and a slide guitar workshop with Rick Fines on Sunday. Come on up to the Haliburton Highlands and join in on the fun!!

Summer is officially here and Willow Beach Cottages is ready for another great summer season. The Gage’s are looking forward to seeing all their “old friends” again and seeing just how big the kids have gotten over the past year. We still have a few vacancies beginning June 30th and July 5th … so, if you know anyone looking please tell them to call. See you all soon.

It’s hard to believe that both my children are all grown up … As in my previous posting Martin just graduated from University and now I’m letting you all know that Lisa just bought her first house!  She is very excited and very busy with all the upkeep and decorating. That girl certainly does love to decorate!
